Leyline Portal is a hardware and software product designed to improve accessibility for blind and visually impaired users within queue management systems.
I joined the project during the early launch phase and led a one-week working session with company founders to deeply understand the product, its users, and its role within the wider Leyline ecosystem.
From there, I led the structure and messaging for the product landing page, working closely with the internal marketing team to translate complex functionality into clear, accessible communication.
The project involved coordinating content production across multiple formats, including team photography, realistic static and animated 3D product visualisation, and supporting launch materials.
The primary goal was fast, clear information delivery for conferences and expos, while enabling efficient lead capture for sales follow-up.
Content Direction
The content for Portal was designed to support fast understanding, accessibility, and clarity across multiple touchpoints.
I worked closely with the marketing team to define what content was needed, why it mattered, and how it would be used, before production began. The focus was on explaining a complex hardware and software product quickly, especially in conference and expo environments.
Content direction included:
Team portraits to humanise the product and establish trust
An explanatory video outlining how the system works in real-world scenarios
Realistic static and animated 3D renders for marketing and web use
3D animations to communicate product behaviour and interaction
A production-ready 3D model prepared for real-time use on the website via three.js
Each asset was designed to serve a specific role within the overall experience, from first impression to product understanding, ensuring visual consistency and reducing friction across channels.
