TasteOS: a recipe app that learns your taste

The problem

Most recipe apps ask what you like once, then forget it. Your taste changes with every meal you actually cook and eat, and the app never hears about it.

What I designed

A taste fingerprint built during setup: sweet, sour, salty, spicy, umami and more
A meal log that takes seconds: rate a real meal and the fingerprint sharpens
Recipes that show how well they match you, so a suggestion always has a reason
The same taste engine on the web and on iPhone
Your taste as a fingerprint: setup, matched recipes and the meal log.
Your taste as a fingerprint: setup, matched recipes and the meal log.
Every meal you log makes it smarter.

App Store screens: what to eat tonight, three ideas, and a snap of your fridge.

Your taste profile, evolving as you cook.

The web app runs on the same taste engine.

The result

TasteOS is live on the web and on the iPhone App Store. I designed and shipped it myself, from the first screen to the store listing.
