Redefining the Foundation
• System Mapping: Conducted a comprehensive audit of the legacy design system by mapping elements and patterns across production and Figma files. Identified inconsistencies and created a prioritized list of usable and redundant components.
Stakeholder Alignment
• Vision Workshop: Facilitated workshops with stakeholders to assess the current design’s look and feel and align on a refreshed brand vision. Explored multiple concepts and achieved a unified direction for the new design system.
Phase 1: Establishing Foundations
• Core Principles: Developed a scalable design foundation leveraging Figma variables, focusing on:
• Accessible Color Palette: Designed fully accessible color schemes.
• Typography: Implemented a refined font family and type scale.
