The Mid-Autumn Festival celebrates the brightest moon of the season. Chinese families around the world eat mooncakes and gaze at the brilliant lunar. The festival is intertwined with the legend of the Lady of the Moon, known as the goddess Chang’e.
In line with the Arte Hotel brand's DNA, the mooncake packaging design drew its inspiration from the neoclassical French Chateaus during the Rococo era. Here the Lady of the Moon was given a modern twist where she is depicted having a ball with her friends in a lavish French Chateau. The mooncake box was designed to be a memorable gift for family and friends to indulge in four flavours of mooncakes whilst sipping on a range of premium TWG tea. Once the mooncakes are savoured, the box turns into a dollhouse jewellery box.
Many guests came back to purchase more than one box as it made a great impression not only as gifts for family and friends but also as corporate gifts.
