Welcome to the conceptual design for the GTA 6 pause menu UI. This design aims to enhance player experience by introducing a fresh, modern interface that remains intuitive while incorporating new features. This UI offers seamless navigation, a more immersive connection to the game world, and a distinct visual identity that sets it apart from previous titles.

Game Tab

The Game Tab serves as the central hub for all essential in-game features, offering quick access to the map, save/load options, and an innovative explore section. This explore section allows players to delve deeper into guides, points of interest, and historical backgrounds of the game's locations, enhancing the immersive experience.
The UI stands out with a unique tab bar positioned at the bottom, breaking away from previous titles' designs. The header provides key information such as the character’s picture, current cash, and unread messages on the top left, while the top right displays the player's current location, time, day, and weather conditions, keeping the player fully informed.

Settings Tab

The Settings Tab adopts the same structural approach as the Game Tab, maintaining visual consistency while offering tailored functionality.
The settings-specific tab bar remains at the top, distinct from the main bottom tab bar, to ensure ease of navigation between different settings categories. This separation allows players to quickly adjust game preferences without confusion, blending familiar design elements with fresh innovations.

Map Tab (Alternative)

The first Map Tab alternative integrates the map as a primary focus, replacing the Game Tab to provide instant access, similar to GTA 5's design. This alternative retains the bottom tab bar structure, offering a seamless transition between the map and other core functions. The UI emphasizes ease of use, allowing players to quickly switch between exploring the map and accessing other essential game features without losing context.
