Rede Globo, in partnership with the Roberto Marinho Foundation, needed a digital environment capable of bringing together three core initiatives: sharing inspiring educational stories, managing registrations for the LED Award, and hosting an event agenda designed for educators across Brazil.
Beyond consolidating such diverse content, the platform also needed to perform flawlessly on mobile devices — the primary access point for many teachers and students in regions where desktop computers are still not widely available.
The challenge was to create an online experience that could organize these different layers of content while remaining intuitive, accessible, and highly responsive across devices.
GG Studio Methodology®
The project began with an in-depth UX research phase focused on understanding the needs and behaviors of educators, students, and participants of the Movimento LED ecosystem. These insights helped define the platform’s information architecture and ensure that each feature aligned with real user expectations.
Based on these findings, the team developed a clear structural framework that connected storytelling, event participation, and educational resources into a unified user journey. This stage focused heavily on simplifying navigation while maintaining the depth of the platform’s content.
Next came the creation of high-fidelity prototypes, designed to simulate the final product with precision. These prototypes allowed stakeholders to validate flows, interactions, and visual hierarchy before development began.
Throughout the process, a strong emphasis was placed on usability, accessibility, and mobile performance, ensuring that the platform would function seamlessly across devices and reach educators in every region of the country.

Project Challenges
Designing the Movimento LED platform required balancing multiple objectives within a single digital ecosystem. The project needed to host inspiring educational stories, manage submissions for the LED Award, and provide an accessible agenda of events for teachers and students throughout Brazil.
One of the biggest challenges was organizing this diverse content structure into a cohesive and intuitive experience. The platform had to guide users naturally between discovery, participation, and learning without overwhelming them with information.
Another critical requirement was accessibility across devices. In many regions of Brazil, mobile phones are the primary — and sometimes the only — way educators access digital platforms. The interface therefore had to be optimized with a strict mobile-first approach while still providing a rich and engaging desktop experience.
Results
Thirty days after launch, the project was already delivering remarkable results. Registrations quickly surpassed the six-figure mark, demonstrating the strong impact of the platform and the effectiveness of its digital experience.
User engagement also showed significant improvement. The average time spent on the platform doubled compared to similar initiatives, indicating that visitors were not only arriving — they were staying, exploring, and interacting with the content.
These numbers confirmed what the design strategy aimed to achieve from the start: create an experience capable of capturing attention, sustaining engagement, and driving meaningful participation.
