Rammed Earth Courtyard Residence

A contemporary design for an urban courtyard dwelling using earth construction specifically rammed earth. The design explored traditional south Asian lifestyles and created modern spaces to relive those experiences. For example an interior private courtyard with outdoor kitchen and bathing areas. Also each of the three main bedrooms with separate access from the courtyard have a private sunroom on the mezzanine level which in turn leads to a roof garden. The purpose being reintroducing semi outdoor sleeping on rooftops within the privacy and safety of your naturally ventilated sunroom. Architect, 3D Visualizer
