A contemporary urban dwelling design that incorporates vernacular Himalayan features, such as Verandahs, Balconies, and Screens. Most people overlook the possibilities of creating quirky spaces that come with buying a sloping plot. Here we were able to increase the covered area considerably while adding a basement that not only was open on almost all four sides but also benefits from access to the front lawn of the house.
