ePay Punjab — Government Digital Payment Aggregator

Overview:
ePay Punjab is Pakistan’s first government digital payment aggregator, enabling citizens to pay taxes, fees, and utility bills online through a unified platform. It integrates multiple banks and payment gateways, including 1Link, JazzCash, and EasyPaisa, offering both mobile app and web-based access.
Key Contributions:
Architected and led the end-to-end development of the platform under PITB.
Designed secure payment workflows integrating with State Bank of Pakistan and multiple commercial banks.
Developed real-time transaction APIs with Spring Boot and implemented Angular-based front-end dashboards for departments.
Coordinated with financial institutions to ensure seamless digital payments and reconciliation.
Led a team of developers handling backend, frontend, and infrastructure components.
Results & Impact:
Facilitated over 5 million transactions across 15+ government departments.
Achieved 100,000+ daily users and processed billions in revenue collections.
Recognized as a flagship GovTech initiative under Punjab’s digital transformation program.
Set the foundation for paperless tax and fee payments in the province.
