Krafty — Designing an AI Workspace for Everyday Delegation

AI agents can take on meaningful background work, but delegation becomes fragile when people can’t tell what they assigned, what is happening, or when their attention is needed. Krafty was built to make that work visible and manageable.

I independently created and built Krafty as the product designer and full-stack developer. My work covered the product experience, interface design, responsive website, mobile app, and AI automation.

Krafty lets people create AI teammates with their own roles, instructions, and saved memories. These bots can connect to apps, research the web, work on a shared persistent cloud computer, and run scheduled routines. Users can follow progress and review approval requests along the way.

The core experience starts with defining a bot’s role through conversational setup. Once a teammate is configured, users assign work in chat, grant access through connected-app flows, and create routines for recurring tasks.

Activity and approval interfaces make background work legible. They give users a place to see what a bot is doing, understand what changed, and step in when an approval is required.

Krafty is an independently built product. The implementation combines a Next.js and React web experience with a React Native mobile app, AI workflows, background routines, persistent cloud-computer sessions, and a PostgreSQL data layer.
