Dazeboard is an internal HR tool used by mid-sized companies to manage employee records, meetings, payroll, and performance tracking. The platform was struggling with a clunky interface and disjointed workflows, HR teams were spending too much time navigating the system instead of focusing on actual people.
That’s where I stepped in.
The company approached me with a simple goal:
“We want HR to feel less like paperwork and more like people-work.”
So I redesigned the entire platform to make it more efficient, modern, and human-centric.
🧠 Project Goal
To redesign the HR management platform from the ground up making it:
Easier to navigate
More insightful with real-time data
Supportive of hybrid work environments (remote & onsite tracking)
Streamlined for payroll, meetings, and employee status
Visually aligned with modern SaaS platforms (dark mode-first)
🎯 Product Strategy
Before diving into pixels, I spent time understanding the problems HR teams face daily. I interviewed mock users, studied enterprise HR tools like BambooHR, Gusto, and Deel, and mapped out Dazeboard’s feature gaps.
We aligned the platform strategy around 3 key pillars:
Clarity over complexity: Avoid overwhelming HR teams with data. Show them only what they need clearly and timely.
