This design concept transformed Casa del Rey, a historic building in Puerto Rico, into a wellness center that bridges heritage and serenity. The project’s architectural study focused on symmetry, geometry, and natural transitions between interior and exterior spaces.
Design Approach:
This project draws inspiration from the architectural structure of Museo Casa del Rey, a preserved historical building. The symmetrical layout and geometric repetition became the foundation for a wellness center that blends outdoor and indoor environments with balance and harmony.
Material Intent:
The space includes locally inspired finishes, warm wood tones, and textured surfaces for visual rhythm. A geometric transparent divider creates flow between private and public zones while maintaining a grounded, earthy atmosphere for relaxation.
