I worked on myself to better version of me and have a fun and active life that I want and that makes me happy.
I can fight my fights to be the best version.
My wellness journey started in 2021 when a reality check hit me. I realise I wasn't happy, what I was doing to my health was poor. Eating poorly and drinking high sugar drinks. I was also finishing my year at school and I realised I never did anything to get to where I want to be, and become a better version of myself.
I decided to change. I quit having sugar and I started exercising 5-6 days a week and I went out running everyday.
My first day of working out was painful. I wanted to quit but I knew the results will be worth it and far more satisfying. I pushed myself harder and the pain kept going.
I started teaching myself how to play to guitar, It took me a month to learn a song. My fingers were aching but I can't describe how happy I was to finally able to tell people I can play the guitar. That motivated me to do other stuff and learn new things. I became a happier version and it also helped me to eat healthier. I consistently practiced and started leaning French on the side.
It was during quarantine in Thailand so I took advantage of it. I didn't want to sit around and be the same person for another year. I want to be a better version of me and I did. I lost 4 kg and I became confident in myself and started to think more positively.
This journey is only the beginning but has inspired me to help others who are looking for a spark.
