The Unforgettable Horse Riding Journey

Horse riding is one of my favourite hobbies and an activity which I enjoy the most. It has been part of my childhood. I started riding horses in Thailand when I was 5 years old. I took classes at a place called " The Horse Land Riding Club." I don't fully remember what got me into horse riding, but I remember my parents coming up to me and asking what would I like to do on the weekends, they then mentioned horse riding and that is how the journey started. Since then I have always loved riding and being around them. Although my time at Horse Land was great, I decided to move to Kanchanaburi province and ride with a lady called Pookki. She was really good and the horses at her place seemed more stronger and bigger than what I was ridding at Horse Land. I often rode a horse called Tequilla. She had a wide open space for me to ride around and we went on hacks in the woods which was nice. That lasted around a year I think then I moved back to The Horse Land Riding Club.
Once I got back, I started competing in 20km endurance at around 11 years old. I rode a horse called Black Stone, he is one of my favourites. My first competition I got the fourth and for my first year, I won the gold medal for the highest points received in a year. I then moved up to 40km and tried and failed for a couple of years.  In 2018 my dad rented me a horse called Tarn. I competed with him at a place called Dragon Hill in Ratchaburi. I came in third but got fourth instead because during the last set, you are allowed to trot the horse just once but I wanted to and failed for him to trot, so I almost got eliminated from the competition but they gave me a deduction instead. It was an experience I will never forget. I then moved up and competed in 80km but did not succeed.
After a couple of years at The Horse Land, I moved to Pattaya to improve my footwork and start jumping in 2019. My teacher their was called Mike, he was a Show jumper back in his days. I took dressage and Jumping. The horses there were bigger and stronger than what I was riding. The place was more professional and had people tacking up for you where Horse Land I was tacking up myself(which was a good thing for me). I then competed in dressage and got 5th place out of the 7 competitors! I then took a break in 2020( also because of the pandemic, I wasn't able to ride). I then started riding again in 2022 at Horse Land. Then moved here to the UK and since then... well, I haven't got on a horse since my arrival.
