I collaborated again with Magic Patterns to create the launch video for Screens, a new feature that introduces a canvas-style workspace where users can view, organize, and edit all generated screens in one place. Inspired by tools like Figma, the feature gives users a more visual and flexible way to manage product flows and iterate on individual screens directly within the interface.

I was responsible for the full creative execution of the launch video, including storyboard development, motion design, animation, and sound design. Working closely with the founders, the goal was to communicate the product’s new workflow in a way that felt intuitive, elegant, and visually premium while maintaining clarity around the feature’s functionality.

The creative direction drew inspiration from the launch aesthetics of Anthropic and Apple, focusing on minimalist typography, refined pacing, smooth transitions, and detailed motion. I translated Magic Patterns’ visual identity into motion by carefully integrating their typography, colors, UI elements, and layout system into a cohesive cinematic experience. Subtle but intentional sound design helped reinforce interactions and elevate the overall polish of the piece.

One of the main challenges was balancing product clarity with a highly minimal visual style. The video needed to feel sophisticated without losing usability or overwhelming the viewer with interface details. Through fast iteration and precise motion design, the final result successfully communicated the value of Screens while matching the premium quality standard the team envisioned for the launch.
