Designs Tools Landing Page

Designs Tools is a community platform for designers — Figma files, Framer templates, and assets to download, plus a space to share work and find indie gigs. I designed the landing page, built to match the platform's core promise: zero code, pure design energy.
My role: UI/UX & Web Design

The Problem

Design-resource and creative-marketplace platforms almost always default to the same safe playbook: clean grids, muted neutrals, restrained typography. It's the "professional SaaS" look — and it actively works against a product whose entire pitch is creative chaos, indie energy, and breaking the rules.
The challenge was building a landing page loud and confident enough to match that promise, without losing clarity on what the platform actually offers: downloadable assets, templates, a place to share work, and a way to find freelance gigs.

The Approach

I started from the copy itself — "Zero code. Just pure design energy. Build faster, break the rules." — and let that dictate the visual scale. The hero headline runs full-bleed, oversized enough that it's impossible to passively scroll past. A saturated navy-and-orange system replaces the typical muted SaaS palette, and a rotating "steal our assets" badge adds a bit of irreverent personality right where the eye naturally lands.
Stat counters (2.4M+ downloads, 12,400+ active creators) sit up top as immediate proof this isn't just branding bravado — there's a real, active community behind it.

Structuring the value props

Below the hero, I broke the platform's core offerings into four color-blocked cards — each with a distinct accent color and a small UI snippet or illustration tied to that feature: steal assets, grab templates, share your work, find indie gigs. Splitting them by color rather than a uniform grid keeps the same high-energy tone going, while still making each value prop instantly scannable.
A landing page that doesn't just describe a creative-chaos platform — it feels like one. The oversized typography and saturated color system give Designs Tools a visual identity that stands out immediately from the sea of minimal SaaS competitors, while the card-based value prop grid keeps the actual offering easy to understand at a glance.
