Oliver Tatom is a dedicated healthcare leader and community advocate based in Bend, Oregon. As the RN Supervisor of Clinical Operations at St. Charles Family Care and Immediate Care in La Pine, he plays a vital role in supporting frontline caregivers. Beyond his professional work, Oliver is deeply involved in community service, serving on multiple boards and committees and volunteering his time to causes that impact the people and places he cares about.

I've had the privilege of collaborating with Oliver on several projects, including layout work for his various community initiatives and branding for his 2022 campaign for Deschutes County Commissioner. His commitment to service and his deep-rooted compassion for others were key inspirations in crafting a logo that truly represents his identity.

Logo Design – Two-Color The goal was to create a simple yet impactful logo that is instantly recognizable, even from a distance. Oliver wanted a design with soft, organic edges—reminiscent of the approachable and hopeful feel of the 2008 Obama campaign logo. The imagery needed to evoke compassion and optimism, reflecting his personal and professional mission: caring for people—his family, his children, his dogs, his friends, and his patients.

A key design directive was to steer away from the overused mountain and tree motifs commonly seen in Central Oregon, opting instead for something that feels fresh, personal, and distinctly Oliver.
