🍫 Core Bar — Protein Bar Website Design is an ecommerce website for a D2C (DTC) food brand of crafted protein bars, built around taste, natural ingredients and a short path to checkout. The project covers Ecommerce Website Design, Ecommerce UI/UX Design, Food and Beverage Website Design, Online Store Design, Responsive Web Design and Product Page Design. Rich food visuals, elegant Playfair Display headlines and an earthy palette of burnt orange, dark chocolate, ivory and deep green make the online store feel as appetizing as the bars themselves.

My role

As the sole designer on this project, I was responsible for the end-to-end user experience and interface design. My goal was to translate the Core Bar brand philosophy into an intuitive and aesthetically pleasing e-commerce platform.
UX Design: Structuring the information architecture, mapping the user flow from product discovery to checkout, and creating detailed wireframes.
UI Design: Crafting the visual identity of the website, developing a design system (colors, typography, UI kit), and designing all key pages for a fully responsive experience across all devices.

Challenge

1) To transcend the typical e-commerce grid and create a sensory digital experience. The design had to visually communicate the crunch of almonds, the zest of lemon, and the nostalgic comfort of a well-crafted treat.
2) To ensure that this rich, immersive narrative didn't compromise usability. The user journey—from exploring flavors to customizing a box and checking out had to be simple, fast, and frictionless on any device.

Key Features
🛒 The store guides shoppers from the first screen to the cart. In The Art of Flavor, every flavor gets its own scene — Mocha Fudge Fusion, Lemon Cheesecake. Zest and White Chocolate Raspberry Ripple — and the background color and product change with each one. Product cards with Add to Cart, wishlist and hover states make flavors easy to compare, key benefits (20g of Protein, No Added Sugar, All-Natural, Rich in Fiber) read at a glance, and the guided Create Your. Box flow turns ordering into personalization. Why Core Bar explains the ingredients, customer reviews build trust, and a 15% first-order offer closes the page. Information Architecture, User Flow, User Journey, Wireframing, UI Patterns and Interactive Prototyping keep the shopping path simple on desktop and mobile.

Color palette

Every color in this palette was chosen with intention. The goal was to create a visual language that communicates the core values of the Core Bar brand: natural ingredients, premium quality, and emotional warmth. The palette is built on a foundation of organic, "edible" hues that inspire trust and appetite.
✨ This ecommerce website design in Figma includes a complete Design System: Color Styles, Typography (Playfair Display and Raleway), a UI Kit, reusable components and responsive layouts for desktop and mobile. Food visuals were created with AI (Midjourney) and finished in Figma. The visual language combines an editorial layout, generous whitespace, rounded image frames, an animated hero mask and bold burnt orange accents, so this food brand website design feels premium while shopping stays easy.
