The goal was to design a mobile banking app that helps users easily manage everyday finances — from checking balances to paying bills and controlling cards — all in one simple, intuitive interface.
Problem
Most banking apps feel cluttered and overwhelming. Users often struggle with too many features buried in complex menus, leading to frustration and low adoption.
Process
Research: Identified user pain points in existing banking apps (slow navigation, unclear flows, poor card controls).
Wireframing: Created streamlined flows for key tasks like daily transactions, bill payments, and card management.
UI Design: Focused on clarity and simplicity, using clean layouts, bold typography, and recognizable iconography.
Prototyping & Testing: Built interactive prototypes in Figma, tested with users, and refined navigation for speed and ease.
Solution / Idea
The app organizes daily financial tasks into three core sections:
Daily Usage: Quick view of balance, recent transactions, and easy transfers.
Bill Payments: Simple scheduling and reminders to pay utilities, subscriptions, or recurring expenses.
Card Management: Instant card freeze/unfreeze, limit controls, and tracking spending by category.
Result
Users completed key tasks (transfer, pay bill, freeze card) in under 2 steps.
Clear navigation reduced confusion and improved confidence.
Testers described the app as “easy,” “fast,” and “stress-free”.
