Glimpse was the idea of making use case of millions of data that are static on a blockchain. The developer of Glimpse's search engine approached me for a fun website design that should reflect the retro aesthetics and a modern, sleek, cheerful display.

Glimpse was also a mainstream project for the Arweave ecosystem, a data chain with lots of potential. Now, to keep up with the hype an interface that will speak for itself was required. The ML developer wanted me to create a clean, interactive, retro UI based design. here's the breakdown.

As a Product designer, it was important for me to look for more that just from the UI perspective, hence my roles in this were to:

Discuss the idea and to find all the possible UX from a search engine perspective.

Create the wireframes and blueprints of the design layout.

Work on typography and the pallet selection.

Create designs with several alternatives (10-12 pages).

Develop the frontend of the website and to integrate it with the ML model provided.

Help create a product identity and to deliver pitch, presentation and promotional posts.

Brainstorming and Ideation : To make a search engine interface for a blockchain was tricky, hence, every such type of search engine was examined closely with the features they have to offer.

Wireframes: Exclusive UX was necessary here, so before the prototyping phase I created the wireframe and the blueprint for the entire project.

Designing Phase: This is where the wireframes took shape into mockups. Instead of relying on existing Retro UI libraries, I made an exclusive retro theme for Glimpse, this helped us solve any kind of external credits and the complete ownership over the entire product.

Development: After the designing phase, I worked on the frontend code for glimpse. For this, modern tech stack was used and we carefully integrated the frontend with the working ML model.

When Glimpse become one of the most successful product in the ecosystem. Along side many good projects, team Glimpse also won a $2.5K grant from the AO Agent Hackathon.
