Focal Sciences is a very early-stage startup that is working on making pet and aqua food more nutritious by using novel ways like silkworms for a protein source.

They wanted a website that could represent them on the internet and also describe what they have to offer in the market. They had nothing, not even a logo, so I did a quick foundation building too, including the branding, logo & some other product-representing documents like the COAs and brochures.

As a solo Designer + Framer Builder, I started by deciding the representation of logo, then the quick visual style guide, then the website.

As the goal was to present the brand and their products— I tried to use visuals and just enough text so that the digestibility of the information increases. The combination of visuals and text also makes it easy to understand.

I build the CMS in Framer, for managing the product information. And also the design is very direct, just the simple presentation of the value of the product.
