Exploring form, proportion, and character for a compact portable speaker.

I started with several different directions, looking at how small changes in silhouette, controls, materials, and proportions could completely change the personality of the product.

From there, I selected the direction that felt the most balanced and developed it into a more refined product concept.

For me, good product design is often about knowing what to remove, what to refine, and what deserves attention.
