About the Project
I worked to build Freak Fan — an online community platform designed to connect passionate fans through a modern, user-friendly experience. The project involved designing and developing a full-stack application that feels fast, fun, and easy to use for all kinds of users.
Frontend Work
Using React, I created a smooth and interactive UI that keeps fans engaged while they scroll, post, and connect. Everything from navigation to content feeds was crafted for usability and responsiveness on desktop and mobile.
Backend Development
For the backend, I used Laravel, which helped manage users, content, and interactions through a secure and scalable structure. I implemented authentication, user profiles, content sharing features, and dynamic updates. Laravel’s ecosystem made it easy to stay organized and build fast.
Cloud Hosting & Infrastructure
The app was deployed on AWS, with a focus on scalability and uptime. I handled the DevOps part — setting up EC2 instances, securing data with IAM roles and SSL, and monitoring app performance through AWS tools.
The Challenge
The most exciting part? Seamlessly syncing the frontend with backend logic while keeping everything real-time and snappy. It pushed me to think about performance, user flow, and scalability from both ends.
Result
The end result was a highly interactive and engaging community space where fans can truly feel connected. It’s a platform built for people who share a common passion — and it runs fast, looks clean, and is easy to maintain.
