Employees in The Netherlands relatively resigns from their offices after only a year of working, indicating a room for improvement in employee engagement approach. Possible reasons include that they are experiencing burnout and are not happy working in their company
🎯Goals & Objective
Create a platform where users (in this case, employees) can feel happier and lighter in their individual work and together with their colleagues. Within or outside their office space.
✅Solution Approach
For this project, we decided to choose a Hook Model. Developed by Nir Eyal, this approach outlines a four-step process designed to create user habits through product engagement: Trigger, Action, Variable Reward, and Investment
Hook Model by ProductPlan
Trigger: Notifications or reminders about upcoming missions, competitions,
or the opportunity to earn rewards.
Action: Participation in missions or tasks. Employees take action by completing missions or engaging in friendly competitions with other departments, which serves as a fun way to break their daily work routine.
Variable Reward: A chance for businesses to collaborate with the platform. Employees will earn various prizes such as lunch coupons, etc, upon completing missions. This triggers excitement and motivation, encouraging continued participation.
Investment: Next to rewards, the platform would also strengthen friendship with coworkers. At the end, making their workplace lighter & happier!
