AI Website Chatbot for a Dental Clinic (Demo)

Demo project: fictional clinic and scripted replies, not client work. Built to show how a website chatbot can take routine questions off a small team.

The problem

Small clinics get the same questions every day by phone and website chat: hours, prices, whether they take new patients, how to book. Staff answer them between patients, and messages sent after hours wait until morning.

What I built

A scripted website chat assistant for a fictional dental clinic (Northgate Family Dental). It answers common questions from the clinic's own approved FAQ.

Collects name and phone number for a booking request

Offers open appointment slots

Hands anything medical or urgent to a person

How a real version is built

An AI model such as Claude answers from a short knowledge base the clinic writes and approves. Booking requests go into GoHighLevel as contacts with the chosen slot, and a Make.com scenario can notify the front desk.

What I'd adapt for a real clinic

Connect it to the clinic's real calendar, agree which questions it may answer, add a clear talk-to-a-person option on every reply, and review chat logs each week to improve the answers.

Note: the demo uses scripted replies so it works for anyone who opens it. No messages are stored or sent, and no appointment is booked.
