The Hand Heart and Soul Project is a nonprofit that focuses on gardening eduaction and workshops, nutrition education, cooking workshops hosts events that center wellness, education, and community care. They needed a way to document and share these experiences in a way that was vibrant, community-centered, and easy to repurpose across platforms. My goal was to help amplify their mission visually—through short, powerful videos that reflected the energy and impact of their work.

I worked closely with the team to edit and produce short-form recap videos and social content that highlights their mission and engages the community.

Event Recap Reels — Highlighting key moments, community engagement, and the atmosphere of each experience like the back-to-school events, local food distribution

Promotional — Flyers and Short-form teasers and invite-style videos to promote upcoming events

Branded Awareness & Storytelling — Compiling interviews, testimonials, and spoken word moments that shared the “why” behind the work

Edited recap videos using raw footage provided by the team

Music selection and editing that matched the vibe of each event

Guidance on video structure and how to best position content for visibility

The content helped the organization reach a wider audience, get more eyes on their events, and continue to build community online in between in-person gatherings. Each video gave people a glimpse into the joy, purpose, and intentionality behind every event.
