Renee’s main goals were to:
Launch and promote her 2026 Bali retreat with clarity and impact.
Build awareness around her core message of “Choosing Yourself Unapologetically.”
Create content that speaks directly to Black women who are ready to prioritize themselves.
Develop a free lead magnet (“7 Steps to Choosing Yourself Unapologetically” guide) as a nurturing entry point into her retreat funnel.
Share authentic storytelling through testimonial campaigns and video-driven content.
She needed a strategist who could oversee her launch planning, content creation, and video editing in a way that felt aligned, soulful, and professional.
My Approach
As Launch Strategist and Content Creator, I led both the strategic direction and execution of Renee’s campaign:
Campaign Strategy & Messaging
Developed a launch strategy that combines education, storytellings and direct call to actions.
Positioned the retreat as both a healing and lifestyle reset specifically designed for Black women over 40.
Crafted messaging that centered rest, healing, and unapologetic self-prioritization.
Developed a content funnel: free guide → social campaign → retreat enrollment.
Content Creation & Video Editing
Produced and edited video carousels, testimonial reels, and short-form content for Instagram.
Designed carousel series (e.g., “Black Women’s Guide to Choosing Yourself Unapologetically”) with impactful overlays and storytelling.
Edited launch videos, retreat highlight reels, and Renee’s speaking clips to create an engaging mix of authority + relatability.
Lead Generation & Funnel Support
Helped structure the free guide “7 Steps to Choosing Yourself Unapologetically” as an opt-in to capture leads.
Wrote and optimized captions, hooks, and CTAs to encourage downloads and retreat sign-ups.
Created conversational ManyChat DM/comment flows for engagement and sign-up conversion.
Storytelling Through Testimonials
Crafted testimonial features (e.g., Stacy Stewart’s healing story) to connect emotionally with Renee’s audience.
Developed a weekly testimonial campaign to showcase women’s reasons for choosing the retreat
