I designed a social media ad for the new Hoka Rocket X shoe. They wanted me to promote it because this shoe has a 1 mm carbon fiber plate embedded on the bottom, it has the new EVA foam midsole, and many more pros.
The target publication will be Runner’s World, Running Times, and Running Journal.
The purpose of this ad is to promote the new Hoka Rocket X on their Instagram account with one post and two stories. The main post is most likely to introduce the new design to the followers. The stories are more of a way to sell the shoe, by adding a call-to-action button customers are easily able to purchase.
The tagline “Time To Fly,” inspired me to choose the headline “Run like a feather.” The shoe is only 7.4 ounces light, so I made it look like the shoe is floating in feathers in the Instagram post. The Hoka Rocket X has multiple colors and I wanted to show this to the customer. I made a small poll to have some interaction with the customer. The call-to-action buttons will automatically go to Hoka’s website.

INTRODUCING THE NEW HOKA ROCKET X
Distance does not matter with the new Hoka Rocket X running shoes. The Rocket X is 7.4 ounces light and has a one-millimeter carbon fiber plate embedded in the bottom for maximal efficiency. This shoe has the new EVA foam midsole that provides softness and cushion for high-speed miles to have the feeling that you have the wind in the back. This All-Gender Sizing running shoe includes an outsole for added durability and traction. The Hoka Rocket X will give you the extra push before the finish with the firmer material that provides an efficient push-off.
