Packaging Design for New Kids Product Line

The client wishes to introduce a new series of children's nutritional supplements to the New Zealand market. This product line includes various essential nutrients for children's growth, including calcium supplementation, vision protection, immune system enhancement, and brain health. Therefore, they require me to design a set of product labels and packaging tailored to children's nutritional products.

STEP 01 _ Determine the primary element style

After researching and analyzing existing products on the market and considering client requirements, we have decided on a design style centered around small animals as the primary design element. The selection of animals aligns with the unique function of each product. Consequently, four distinct small animal characters have been created for the four different products, ensuring a consistent brand image. This unified style will also maintain brand consistency when introducing new products in the future.

STEP 02 _ Background illustration

After finalizing the primary design elements for the products, I proceeded to design and illustrate the backgrounds of the labels based on the drawing style of the main elements. It involved placing the small animal characters harmoniously in appropriate settings while maintaining a unified design style throughout.

STEP 03 _ Final label design

Once the primary design elements and background elements were confirmed, we proceeded to design and finalize the layout of other elements on the labels and packaging according to the overall design style. This involved incorporating additional elements into the design and arranging them for the final layout.
