LifeBoat: Community Support Tool (Saas)

LifeBoat is a SaaS platform designed to help individuals facing grief, illness, or hardship get ongoing support from their loved ones. It simplifies the process of facilitating communication and consistent check-ins so no one has to navigate tough times alone.

As the Founder & Product Lead, I was responsible for every aspect of bringing LifeBoat to life—from initial concept to market launch. My role spanned:

🚀 Product Ideation & Strategy – Identified a market gap for better support systems, conceptualized core features, and built a roadmap for execution. 🎨 UX/UI Design & Development Oversight – Designed a user-friendly interface that made it easy for both supporters and those in need to organize and receive help. 📱 App Store Launch & Distribution – Managed the full development cycle, securing approval and launching on the Apple App Store. 📈 Go-to-Market & Customer Acquisition – Developed marketing strategies and pitched LifeBoat to SaaS clients, including hospitals, nonprofits, and support organizations. 📣 Branding & Storytelling – Created compelling messaging to position LifeBoat as an essential tool for community-driven support. 💰 Business Development & Partnerships – Built relationships with churches, synagogues, caregiving networks and support communities to drive adoption. 📊 Growth & Engagement Strategy – Implemented email automation, push notifications, and engagement loops to maximize user retention.

LifeBoat is currently live in the App Store and has been used by communities rallying around loved ones in need. This project allowed me to blend product development, growth strategy, and human-centered design to build something that truly makes a difference.
