Overview 🔎

The Home Page for Jewels of Teaching has been redone a variety of times before creating the seamless and streamlined design that it is today. Using design research and experience, this site has now been updated for most recent SEO keywords for this unique niche and audience. Design, buttons, and images were all added as well as specific sections and opt in areas. The brand is clear, as is the audience's needs for an easy to access platform for information.

Process 🛣

Using a blank page in Kajabi, I started with a Hero section to introduce the business, who they serve, and what they offer. This immediately includes a CTA to push visitors to the opt-in sales page (linked in portfolio).
Then, to offer quick access to the key areas of the website, there are three linked images with descriptions and CTAs for viewers to follow. This section incorporates clear terms and SEO terms in the descriptions as well as key jargon that fits with the audience's pain points (like stress management support).
The next section off sets images on two different sides to create more dynamic viewership and includes an introduction to the business owner to build trust and authority before offering a CTA for more information on the About Me Page. This section focuses in on creating relatability between business owner and potential customer/client. It pulls out the emotions that the intended audience may be feeling and offers the idea that they are not alone. This abides by the brand story concept where the business owner acts as a mentor to any potential clients and will help them in their journey toward their ultimate goal.
The next section includes an easy to use opt-in email area and an option to find out more if they are not yet ready to offer their email.
Images of the business owner are incorporated throughout the page to add more trust between the audience and the business itself.
The signature system is added after the essential information, so that the audience understands that this business can offer them a streamlined action plan for achieving their goal and then uses a CTA to learn more about said system.
Blogs (linked in portfolio) are also added to incorporate more authority on the home page and allow the viewer to stay on the website longer. All of these thumbnails for the blogs and the Resource Store were created in Canva and include SEO keywords for each item.
The page ends with social links that are clear, easy to see, and add trust and authority for the business.

Results 🎁

This Home page has been the focus of gaining more clients and pushing viewers toward the opt-in and to stay on the website. Views increase on the website analytics due to the simple, yet clear branding focus throughout the page itself.

Takeaways 📣

I learned so much about design while redesigning this Home page to meet a new audience and a clear brand. I was able to work through different problems and make sure that everything fit not only the business's needs but also the audience's needs.
