Rizz is an Australian hair care brand targeting young adults, offering professional-grade, affordable products with a modern, classy yet fun aesthetic. The brand’s mission is to democratize high-quality hair care, empowering users to achieve salon-worthy results at home, while promoting self-expression through accessible and enjoyable solutions.

THE MAKING OF RiZZ BRANDING

In the vibrant buzz of a Sydney studio, the Rizz branding journey kicked off with a bold vision—to make luxury hair care a playful reality for young adults. I started with the logo, sketching sharp, dynamic lines that captured a modern edge, the red dot adding a cheeky twist. The color palette came next, blending Gun Metal’s sleekness with Alizarin Crimson’s energy, balanced by White’s purity and Pearl Aqua’s freshness. Packaging designs evolved, turning bottles into bold statements with dotted patterns that invited touch.
The typography, Mulish, brought versatility and strength, mirroring the brand’s empowering spirit. Each element wove together, crafting a story of accessible elegance and fun self-expression.

DESIGNER's CHALLENGE

The designer faced the task of creating a brand identity that balances a sophisticated, modern look with a playful, approachable vibe, reflecting Rizz’s commitment to affordable, professional-grade hair care for young adults.
