We built an enterprise B2B software product for a client in the consulting space. Initially on this project, I was the product manager responsible for overseeing the joint venture between my client and Deloitte. This included leading a cross-functional team of 6-10 developers and designers based spread between Ukraine and Germany. It also required me to manage stakeholders and balance requirements from my client's company, Deloitte's leadership team and potential customers of the product we were building.
As the project progressed, my company eventually took over development entirely. I hired dedicated developers, and in addition to my role as product manager, we became responsible for building and supporting the product.
The entire project proved to be a success. The developers that I hired and managed made a great team and were placed into dedicated roles with my client to form their first in-house development team. My client was eventually acquired by one of the largest consulting companies in the world, and the product that we built for them was mentioned in the announcement of the acquisition as a significant contributing factor. As of today, the product continues to be supported and provide value to industrial clients all over the world.
