Hello everyone!

I almost missed this one, but just in time, I was able to sit down this afternoon and play around with omma to build something that’s been on my mind lately: an audio-reactive, interactive vision. Kind of like the ones I get while lying on the floor in the middle of a candlelit hot yin yoga class. It was partly inspired by those trance-like feelings, partly by a dream I had when I was 7, and heavily influenced by my love for experimental music.

If you open the controls on the side, you can tweak different aspects of the sound and shaders, and even change the color palette. The character also changes if you switch to anime mode.

I wanted to submit a quick little something, but I’d love to keep expanding this further, maybe by adding audio capture and a vocoder next. I really enjoy building experiences that let users personalize what they’re seeing and, in a way, become co-creators of the experience.
