Gotedo Vineyard is a web-based SaaS platform designed to help churches and faith-based organizations manage members, finances, events, attendance, and community engagement from one place.

As the Lead Product Designer, I led the design from concept to MVP, translating early product requirements into a structured web app that could support both administrative teams and non-technical volunteers.

Challenge

Faith-based organizations and NGOs often operate with the complexity of mid-sized companies, yet they frequently rely on a chaotic mix of disconnected tools to manage their daily operations.
Before Gotedo Vineyard, administrators were stuck juggling Excel spreadsheets for member records, WhatsApp for communication, Google Forms for event registration, and paper files for attendance. This scattered approach led to duplicated manual work, fragmented data, and zero visibility into community growth or engagement.
As the Lead Product Designer, my challenge was to take these complex operational needs and design a centralized, incredibly simple web-based MVP that non-technical volunteers and busy administrators could easily use without feeling overwhelmed.

Solution

To solve this, I designed a unified administrative platform that consolidates core operations into a single, structured workflow.
First, I replaced dense spreadsheets with a clean visual dashboard that surfaces key metrics like total membership, new visitors, and regional growth at a glance.
To simplify member onboarding, I designed a 7-step registration wizard that breaks a historically long, intimidating data-entry form into digestible sections. This drastically reduced user fatigue and data-entry errors.
I also introduced an actionable CRM layer using logic-based status labels like Active, Weak, and Hold, which allows admins to instantly see who needs immediate outreach.
Finally, I integrated a social and event layer directly into the platform so organizations can post updates, manage events, and track attendance without relying on external third-party apps.

Outcome

The resulting MVP successfully consolidated four separate manual tools into one central hub, reducing administrative setup time by approximately 40% and drastically improving data accuracy.
By matching the simplicity of modern web tools, we eliminated the steep learning curve for non-technical volunteers.
Additionally, the new member status system shifted the organization from reactive to proactive management. Instead of realizing a member or donor had drifted away months after the fact, administrative teams could spot weak engagement signals early and step in to offer timely support.
