Saturama — Experiencing the Frequencies of Love

What if you could step into different frequencies of love, not just observe them?
For Saturama, the challenge wasn’t just showcasing wedding photography.
It was creating a space where each story could be felt through emotion, sound, and atmosphere.
An experience that moves beyond images, into moments you can step into.
Angle
Rather than presenting couples as a collection of images,
the gallery becomes a landscape of emotional states.
Visitors are invited to explore different expressions of love, each defined by its own rhythm, tone, and atmosphere.
Structure
The experience was structured across layers:
Emotion, where love is categorised into distinct states
Sound, where each story is paired with its own auditory atmosphere
Interaction, where visitors actively uncover and engage with each story

Flow
The journey unfolds through exploration.
Choose → Activate → Immerse → Feel
Visitors begin by choosing the emotional state they want to step into.
They place a story onto the wall, bringing it into focus.
Through scanning, the experience is activated, unfolding into sound and atmosphere that surrounds them.
Each interaction transports them into the couple’s world, turning observation into something felt.

Experience
Carried through a series of interactions that translate emotional states into sensory moments.
Selection — Stories are presented as physical elements that visitors can pick up and place, allowing them to bring a chosen moment closer and engage with it more intimately.
Immersion — Each story unfolds through sound, accessed through headphones, extending the experience beyond the visual into something felt.
Categorization — Couples are organised into four expressions of love: passion, young, pure, and calm. Each shaped through its own colour, tone, and atmosphere.
Activation — A simple scan reveals additional layers of the story, allowing each moment to expand beyond its physical form.
Atmosphere — The space shifts throughout the day, with light and sound subtly evolving to reflect different emotional states.

Role
I worked across the narrative, spatial, and interaction flow, shaping both the emotional experience and the way visitors move through the space, from entry to exploration.
Outcome
The experience shifts from viewing love stories
to experiencing them through emotion and atmosphere.
What begins as selection becomes something personal and felt.
