Client's Goal: ShowroomLA, a high-end clothing boutique, wanted to elevate their online customer experience—delivering instant, personalized shopping help, answering FAQs, and making appointment booking effective through Instagram, all while maintaining their luxury brand voice.
Challenges: They faced time-consuming manual support, inconsistent messaging, and missed opportunities for personal engagement—especially with appointment requests coming in from multiple channels.
Solution & Approach: I built and delivered a fully operational AI customer support agent using agent.so, powered by Anthropic Claude 4, and deployed it as a website widget. The agent is trained on ShowroomLA’s proprietary data and styled to match their brand’s voice, ensuring every interaction feels personal and on-brand. It connects directly to their product catalog and FAQ resources, and intelligently routes appointment requests to Instagram for seamless scheduling.
Key Features:
Conversational AI Support: Handles up to thousands monthly customer conversations, offering tailored product recommendations, instant FAQ answers, and multi-turn dialogues that adapt to each visitor’s needs.
Personalized Shopping Guidance: Suggests products based on visitor input and browsing history, using advanced context retention (up to 200,000 tokens per session) for deep personalization.
FAQ Automation: Instantly responds to questions about sizing, shipping, and boutique policies, trained on ShowroomLA’s own knowledge base.
Instagram Appointment Routing: Detects booking intent and provides direct links or instructions for scheduling via Instagram, smoothing the path from inquiry to appointment.
Brand Voice Consistency: Every message is crafted in ShowroomLA’s distinct luxury tone, reinforcing their boutique identity.
Operational Analytics: Optionally generates session summaries and logs for staff review and continuous improvement.
Results: The agent now manages over 120 conversations per month (and ready to scale up to thousands), saving the team hundreds of hours annually. Customers get instant answers and curated recommendations, while staff focus on high-value, in-person service. Appointment bookings via Instagram are up, and customer satisfaction has improved thanks to faster, more personal responses.
