CapitalX set out to give clients a refined, high-trust platform for managing investment portfolios, accessing financial planning tools, and communicating directly with advisors. The goal was a mobile experience that enhanced engagement, simplified advisor communication, and positioned CapitalX as a premium leader in a crowded fintech market.

The financial sector consistently produces apps that overwhelm rather than engage — complex data, dense interfaces, and high-friction advisor communication that create barriers instead of confidence. CapitalX needed the opposite: comprehensive functionality delivered with clarity, speed, and immediate user trust.

Discovery & Strategy — Audited top fintech competitors to identify critical friction points, specifically poor onboarding flows and dense navigation, establishing a clear baseline for a premium low-friction experience.

UX Architecture — Mapped streamlined user journeys and low-fidelity wireframes prioritizing rapid sign-ups, intuitive data visualization, and secure access to financial tools from the first session.

High-End UI Design — Applied a rigorous minimalist design system using premium typography, precise whitespace, and a high-trust visual hierarchy — an interface that communicates security and sophistication before a single interaction.

Prototyping & Testing — Built fully interactive prototypes and refined dashboard readability, contrast accessibility, and onboarding velocity through direct usability testing cycles.
