The main component of Cateringly service is its intuitive user experience wrapped up as an easy to use web app that every customer can quickly load on their phones.

The web app functions as one half of a two-part system that connects staff and customers. It swiftly loads via a browser on the phone and does not require installation.

Cateringly wanted to create an innovative and modern way for customers to get the best experience from any catering establishment. In this web app, there needed to be a way to browse the whole menu, explore special offers, search for articles, make and view orders, and call waiters with a tap of a button.

The main requested features were used as a screen structure and put in a tab navigation format at the bottom of the UI, where they would be used as the main way of navigation. The standout feature, calling a waiter quickly to your table, was put forefront in the tab navigation so that at any point a customer needed help they could reach this option. The flexibility of the web app was achieved by enabling each catering establishment to brand the app with its own logo, main brand color, as well as choose between a light and dark theme.
