Overview
MicroKit is a modular website builder system that uses pre-designed and pre-coded modules to quickly and efficiently build small to medium websites. This project is an in-house tool at my current firm that helps clients, who bought a hosting package from us, promptly get a free website for their business.

Problem
The web hosting department at my current firm at the time wanted to incentivize more people to become our customers by offering something unique and thus grow our user base. We noticed a need and opportunity to create a well designed and developed system that can get new clients on their feet on the internet swiftly, and cost us very little time to help them do so.
Solution
By designing a lot of small websites for various industries, I’ve gathered a lot of experience of what these small websites were about. The focus needed to be on a modular website approach with some universal components that can be combined easily, based on the client's needs. These components were designed and coded independently with keeping the whole picture in mind. When assembled, these components create a fully functioning website that goes out to the client for free.
