Summary

Wild Harvest, a leading supplier of food-grade Mahua flowers, needed a brand identity highlighting their collaboration with indigenous communities for ethical and scientific harvesting. Through working with the founder, the brand was visually positioned to reflect ‘community’ and ‘modernity,’ resulting in a logo design that celebrates heritage while embracing progress.

Challenge

The cultivation of Mahua flowers have been severely undercut due to the British Act of the 1850’s in India, and so it's lost its relevance over the years. The challenge was to create a visual identity play that could play a role in reviving its significance and mass appeal.

Impact

Wild Harvest’s visual identity combines a lively colour palette with bold, clean typography to engage a younger demographic that values health and enjoys culinary exploration. The use of tribal iconography highlights the significance of community, drawing on generational knowledge and rich heritage to build an authentic and culturally resonant brand.
