During COVID-19, The J, a non-profit Jewish community center, needed signage to communicate their health and safety policies to visitors. This signage included, social distancing reminders, mask wearing protocols, proper handwashing practices, and other regulations set by the CDC. These signs were placed around the facility to help keep visitors and staff safe during the pandemic.
As the lead designer on this project, I built this concept using brand colors, typography, sourced iconography – this allowed the brand to preserve its integrity for this urgent, high-priority release. I worked closely with a local vendor to assure quality control and on-time deliveries, while updating artwork as the CDC guidelines changed.
I submitted this scope of work to GDUSA’s American Inhouse Design Awards and was awarded Gold under their COVID-19 Communications category.
