Studio MINSK Website Redesign

Emanuele Papale

Overview

I led the redesign of Studio Minsk’s website to better showcase motion/3D work and make publishing case studies fast and consistent. We simplified the IA, created motion-friendly layouts (hero, reels, captions, credits), and built a reusable component library so editors can assemble pages without breaking the brand. Accessibility and performance guided decisions—clear typographic hierarchy, strong contrast, responsive media, lazy-loaded videos, and reduced-motion fallbacks.
Key decisions
Case-study system: repeatable sections (Overview, Role, Process, Reel, Stills, Results, Credits) to standardize storytelling.
Component library: hero variants, stat blocks, quote callouts, image/video galleries, reels with transcript support.
IA & navigation: fewer top-level choices; clearer paths to Work → Case Study.
A11y & motion: color contrast targets, focus states, keyboard-friendly carousels, prefers-reduced-motion support.
Performance: responsive images/video posters, asset compression, lazy-load, and lightweight interactions.
Outcome
Faster publishing: editors build on-brand pages from documented components.
Clearer storytelling: consistent narrative across all case studies.
Better UX: improved readability, accessibility, and media performance.
