When I first joined the start-up, there was no social media strategy nor a social media department. I was the first hire for it and my unique skills within the social media sector as well as with content creation landed me the role.
I helped create their social media strategy and planned their social media posts as well as helped manage all of their social media accounts. Once the brand identity was set in stone, it was pretty straight-forward in what direction to go with social media strategy as well as the kind of content to create for the brand.
I helped increase their social media presence by up to 30% as well as increased their engagement of social media posts by 5% in my time there.
Additionally, I helped create content for their social media accounts which included images, videos and audio. I used Adobe softwares as well as photoshop and Canva skills to edit their content and worked 1-on-1 with the graphic designer.
