Shop MxA — Apparel Design

The client required a yellow/ black punk centric brand identity, apparel illustration and website graphics to kick start their fashion line.

My best course of action was to refer to alternative graffiti scrawls for inspiration.

I always hand draw my logos digitally on Adobe Photoshop or Clip Studio Paint.

But for the refinement stage I decided to follow the brand’s messy and rough aesthetic by not using font or grids.

I later ‘Image Traced’ the finished logo on Illustrator to achieve the final signature look.

My client and I work closely when matching sketch design to their brand’s clothing. By providing rough mock-ups we can get a general idea of the design will look once it’s finalized.

I then clean up my designs in Clip Studio Paint and have it exported to print for my client.
