Webflow Development for a Top Flutter Development Company

Overview 🔎

Somnio is a fast-growing Flutter development agency. For 18 months I’ve acted as their in-house Webflow developer, owning every iteration of their marketing site: new pages, CMS expansions, performance upgrades and A/B tests. Collaborators: Marketing Lead, 1 UI-UX designer, 1 content writer.

Problem & Solution 🤝

Problem – The site was built in Webflow using Client-First, but had limited CMS functionality, scattered lead capture forms, and lacked interactivity and accessibility enhancements.
High-level solution – I’ve worked as Somnio’s Webflow developer for the past 1.5 years, expanding the CMS, adding dynamic content collections, improving accessibility, and implementing GSAP animations — all while collaborating closely with their design and marketing teams to keep the site evolving.
Goals & Requirements
Optimize and expand the CMS – improve the blog and case studies structure, add CMS-driven components (team, careers, meta tags, etc.)
Streamline lead capture – unify 17 HubSpot forms into a global system, integrating with Make.com
Add interactivity – use animations and scroll effects to boost visual storytelling
Improve accessibility – ensure semantic HTML, focus states, and screen-reader-friendly labeling throughout the site

Process 🛣

My role as the in-house Webflow Developer was to iterate and expand on the existing build — not start from scratch, but evolve it smartly.
Audited the CMS structure and collaborated with marketing to identify what content should be dynamic
Created new CMS collections for case studies, blog posts, FAQs, job postings, team bios, and testimonials
Refactored static sections into modular CMS-driven components, enabling faster updates and better SEO
Rebuilt lead forms: replaced 17 standalone HubSpot forms with a centralized, Make-powered system to standardize lead tracking
Implemented accessibility improvements: proper heading hierarchy, focus states, alt text, and keyboard navigation
Integrated GSAP animations for scroll-based effects that feel dynamic but still keep performance and usability top of mind
Worked closely with Somnio’s designers and content team, iterating week by week without halting production or freezing design updates

Results 🎁

💼 4+ new CMS collections implemented and adopted by the marketing team
💌 17 HubSpot forms consolidated into a single global module
Reduced content update times for the team from hours to minutes (especially for the blog, careers, and case studies)
🧠 Improved site accessibility and Lighthouse scores — hitting 90+ consistently on the main pages
🌀 Enhanced engagement with subtle animations that align with the brand’s visual identity

Takeaways 📣

Even when you don’t build a site from scratch, long-term iteration can massively improve its flexibility and impact
CMS structure matters just as much as visual design — it’s the engine under the hood
Building for a growing team means prioritizing editor experience and scalability, not just aesthetics
Animations are powerful, but they should serve the content, not distract from it
Accessibility isn’t optional — it’s a mark of quality and professionalism that clients increasingly value
