Akkio is a platform that empowers users to harness the power of AI for data-driven decision-making without needing extensive technical expertise. The platform simplifies the process of building and deploying machine learning models, making advanced analytics accessible to a broader audience.

For this project, I undertook a comprehensive redesign of Akkio.com, focusing on both the product and web design aspects. Here’s a detailed overview of the work completed:

Design System Creation: Developed a robust design system in Figma to ensure consistency and coherence across the platform. This system included standardised components, typography, and color schemes, aimed at enhancing usability and visual appeal.

Platform Redesign: Applied the design system to revamp the Akkio platform. The redesign focused on improving user experience by optimising workflows, enhancing visual clarity, and making advanced AI tools more accessible and intuitive. Key updates included redesigned interfaces for model building, data visualisation, and user dashboards.

Website Redesign: Overhauled the Akkio website to align with the new branding and platform enhancements. The redesign aimed to better showcase the platform’s capabilities, features, and value propositions.

Brand Integration: Integrated new branding elements into the website, reflecting the platform’s modern and innovative approach to AI. This included updated visual elements, messaging, and interactive features that highlighted the platform’s strengths.

Interactive Prototyping: Used Framer to create interactive prototypes that demonstrated the new design and user flows. These prototypes illustrated how the revamped design system and user interface improvements translated into a more engaging and user-friendly website experience.

User-Centric Design: Focused on creating an intuitive and accessible user experience, ensuring that both the platform and website effectively communicated Akkio’s value proposition to users of varying technical backgrounds.

Design Consistency: Emphasised the importance of a cohesive design system to maintain visual and functional consistency across the platform and website.

Documentation: Provided detailed documentation of the design process, including the design system guidelines, platform and website redesigns, and key design decisions, to facilitate a clear understanding of the project’s outcomes and objectives.
