A custom map for the location of the clients wedding, in this case it was the beautiful Glacier National Park. The goal was to highlighting important spots, such as the reception and other meaningful locations to them in the form of a map to include in the invitations.
For the main color palette, I replicated the colors I saw from their engagement photos which were just so dreamy and earthy. I really enjoyed playing with the variety of tones in the different scenes. Overall, I was trying to keep the entirety of the piece not too heavy; which was definitely a challenge because I wanted to make the location highlights as detailed as I could while still achieving that balance. I played off the trendy watercolor look but in my own interpretation. As a fun inclusion, I added the bike at the top which is the grooms actual bike set-up, being an avid biker that he is, he was ecstatic to see this including in the final piece.
