Content Writer - PolyGlide Synthetic Ice

In May 2019, PolyGlide Synthetic Ice's CEO approached me to write content for the business. Fresh off an appearance on Shark Tank (no sharks bit, unfortunately), the company wanted to capitalize on the exposure through blogging and SEO.

The product - a unique ice skating panel - had a small yet competitive niche we needed to dominate with helpful content.

Create monthly blogs to grow the PolyGlide Ice brand. PolyGlide is a synthetic material used by ice skaters to build at-home rinks. Responsibilities include:

Creating and pitching article headlines using keyword research tools

Creating 4 articles monthly of 1500+ words with edits

Target adjacent niches for more traffic. We can then educate and convert these readers later.

Uploading finished content to Shopify backend

The partnership is crucial in increasing PolyGlide Synthetic Ice's traffic, especially during the winter when the demand is highest. We also created additional affiliate income through tangential products like ice skates and roller skates. These new avenues raised traffic from 8,500 visits to 20,000 visits yearly. I also submit all blog content with a relevant image and require little to no revisions.
