The Challenge

In Gumroad’s 2023 public board meeting, Sahil Lavingia announced four key initiatives on the Gumroadmap. Having sold Notion templates on Gumroad and looking for a design challenge, I decided to take a stab at designing one of the four initiatives - abandoned cart emails.
Since Gumroad had launched a minimum viable product for the abandoned cart workflow, the challenge was to improve the current drip-email campaign workflow while suggesting realistic improvements, remembering that Gumroad has limited build bandwidth - the average person at Gumroad works 22 hours a week.
How Might We...
Improve the UX of the current workflow and enable usage of other features available in the app?
Business Goal
Enabling users to create effective drip campaigns targeting abandoned carts, in turn increasing revenue by increasing the number of transactions processed
Project Role and Timeframe
This was a short project completed within 3 days, where I was the Product Designer for the project.
